Likes

Coaching was very good. the staff are well versed and they try to teach us with real time applications
Lab facilities are very well maintained. the lab experiments helps us to gain more practical trainings.
The club activities are very well conducted this helps us to make us take break from the academics and to regain some energy

Dislikes

The study holidays are very less and the list f courses are more so it would be better if get more study holidays

I was influenced by the genetic engineering aspect of the biotechnolgy.All the faculties were good at their field.The teaching was very good.They could try to take students to more industries to show live demonastration.The class test are depends on the faculty and the difficulty level are moderate

placement is provided by our college. there will be pre placemnt trainings that are provided for placement opted students.those who opted out for placement there will be GRD and higher education trainings will be provided.90% will get placed.I plan to secure job in future

the merit students fee comes around 80000 per annum. there are various scholarships are available in our college. State government scholarship,alumni scholarships are available.the students can fetch it to get financial assistance.the pacement opportunities are good ,they provide plcement trainings.

there are various technical and non technical events held by the departmrnt association as well as by other departents.Kriya will be the biggest event that held around february of each year.The library has wide range of books available at all the time.there are numerous clubs in our college one can participate in more than one club.Extra ciricullar activites are conducted such as marathon,basket ball, etc...

Admission

Eligibility for Biotechnology is minimum of 50% marks with PCM as core subjects.The official website contains all details.Each semester has three internal examination out of three best two marks will be taken for the internal marks.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Psg college of technology real experience

I applied GD Goenka College which was in Delhi and I got admission in artificial intelligence the drawback I don't want to join in this was comparing to Psg it gives me a good knowledge the course curriculum and there are two internships which provide in this 5 years one is 7th semester and other one is 10th semester there's those two internships were very helpful to my placement And the admission process of my course is there are three levels one is the first level is also score pulse code must be greater than 80% and the second level is entrance test it is based on 12th and 11th mathematics and third level is personal interview which is your technical based on your mathematics skills...Read More

An Honest look at PSG COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY what to expect

I had applied psg,cit,thapar I got confirmed from these three but the main reason I choose psg is course curriculum and the internship it will help you to gain good knowledge and place in good company so comparing other colleges psg is better The admission process of my course there is 4 courses of 5years integrated msc (ds,cs,ss,tcs ) To join in these there are 3rounds 1.12th percentage 2.entrance exam. 3.interview Your 12th score is must be more than 85 The entrance exam is based on 11th and 12th mathmatics And the interview has some technical questions and mathmatics Iam not feared about 1st and 2nd round because my 12th score is very good and Iam well in mathmatics but the 3rd interview round was very good experience for me I had a good chance to prove my skills I had little fear after completing I got 3rd position in the entrance exam Finally it was a great experience for me...Read More
