Dislikes
- Labs are not up to the mark like computer labs are ridiculous (Intel Pentium dual-core processor)
- The campus is just awful. You are not allowed to exit the college till 04:15 pm as all the gates are closed 🔒.
Course Curriculum Overview
• Artificial intelligence is the future of the world that's why I chose the program. •I don't think that our university wanted to make us ready for future challenges. As the the curriculum is awful they forcefully taught us history, Geography and Political science, yes you heard right instead of the practical application of Engineering. • Till now l have been introduced to only a few faculties that hold good knowledge of the subject. • Frequency of exams and difficulty level is fine. But the only problem is those useless subjects concerning engineering like history Geography Political science and many more
Placement Experience
• After 6 th semester students are allowed to sit for campus placement. • Brands like TCS, WIPRO, and Infosys are bulk recruiters. • The highest package was 72 Lpa(off-campus from UEM Jaipur) but the actual scenario is different average package is around 1.5-2.5 LPA • Around 40-50% of students getting on-campus placements. • My plan is to pursue higher education.
Fees and Financial Aid
• Tuition fees: 85000 thousand per semester and total fees will be 110000(admission fees+ 1st semester) + 85000×7. As per 2023 betch. •Now from this year they increased it to 90k. (Applicable for new admission only). • No financial scholarship or aid is present • Campus responsibilities are present but they will not give you a 5-rupee chocolate too.????
Campus Life
• There are mainly 3 annual festivals 2 cultural and 1 technical. But those fests are ridiculous.. waste of time • Ample amount of books are present but students are not allowed in the library during college time( 09:30-05:20 ). • All the Classrooms have a ridiculous blackboard + projector + white screen. But no AC. Classrooms are very suffocating too. • Sports and extracurricular activities are just for formality purposes only. • Only student clubs are present and only a few of them are active like music, dance, and drama clubs other clubs like coding means tech-related are inactive most of the time.
Admission
Eligibility:- 12 th pass with 60% marks. Even without any entrance exam. If you didn't appeared for any entrance exam then they will take a formality exam so called IEMJEE. • Addmission process done by both online and offline mode(Ashram building salt lake sector V). • During addmission process you have to pay 1.1 lakhs ( including 1st sem fees as per 2023) + 6500(uniform) that's all . • I don't have any idea about Reservation . • odd semester will last around 6 month including 1st + 2nd mid term (30 marks) + practical exam(Final) + Final semester exam (exam fees 1000) . • Even semester will last around 3-4 month with same exam pattern. • Term exam papers are made by our faculties so difficulty level is easy according to me. But Final semester exam papers are same in all 3 campuses (IEM , UEM Kolkata, UEM Jaipur) so the difficult level is moderate as far as I feel. • During addmission they will not disclose the actual curriculum and Subjects of the particular course.
