Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS is a good option as you can earn well as well can contribute towards society. We have vast exposure to patients, so practical learning was flawless. My institute is always innovative in teaching. We had lectures, patient bedside clinics, field visits as well as courtroom visits.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college provided the internship. During it, we actually dealt with the patients and could apply our knowledge to patients. Also, we learned practical procedures during the treatment of patients.
Placement Experience
After completion of MBBS, there was no issue of placement. 100 percent of students settled either in a job or practice. The average salary for plain MBBS is around Rs 60000 per month at the starting.
College Events
We had a Ganpati festival, a college cultural gathering every year. Ganesh festival was for 10 days and college gathering was for 15 days including sports events. Students, teachers, and management contribute very well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being a government medical college, the fee was very less, around Rs 6000 per annum. Hence, it was affordable to every one of us.
Fees and Financial Aid
College did not provide any scholarship. I did not avail any. College guided some students in getting education loans. The college issued the bonafide certificates and recommended for the loan.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel I lived in was great. we were provided sharing accommodation in the first year and thereafter single accommodation. The PG hostel was separate. The hostel fee was Rs 1000 per annum. Food was great as we were the mess secretaries by turn and we choose the menu every month in advance after making consensus.
Alumni/Alumna
We had interaction with our alumni. College arranged the guest lectures of such alumni. They guided us in the study and choosing a branch further.
Faculty
My teachers were well-renowned physicians, surgeons, and academicians. They were very interactive, always open for discussions. I will never forget the role plays of my teachers of the patients with different symptoms.
