Honest review

For some courses, the curriculum need to be improved. The courses include case studies of real world. But in some courses the cases were outdated. The teaching method also is subjective. Some faculties are really creative when it comes to teaching.

The companies that come for internship are- JP Morgan Chase & co. (35,000), tata AIG (10,000}, ICICI Bank (40,000), Exide, amul (10,000), jio creative labs (0 stipend) etc. The roles for marketing peeps are generally not that good. Mostly sales and marketing research. Even the sector is mostly Bfsi.

They provide the placement assistance and the ROI is okayish. It was good before but maybe due to the economic conditions of the market the placement was not upto the mark. Mostly the companies are from BFSI. The roles that students want are not generally offered. Especially in marketing, the sales role is the most common one.

During my admission they increased the fee as per the GST rates to 18%. This happens almost every year. The complete cost of my education would be Rs. 15,00,000. The scholarship is provided on the basis of merit. The placements this year were not upto the mark in terms of roles.

I myself am in the core organising committee (The Cultural Committee) that organises the annual national level cultural and management fest of IMNU, Perspective Richter 10. It takes place in February and is a 3 day event. The management students from all over the country take part in it. The campus life is not that great as they have put millions of restrictions in comparison to other b school environment. MBA is incomplete without taking part in any club pr committee

The hostel few for girls is 90000 a year. This is for triple sharing rooms including AC and washrooms. The fee for laundry and mess is different. For laundry it is 5000 and for mess, it is 1,50,000 (approx). The hostel is in the campus only. For boys there are 3 hostels. As mba is a residential program, it is compulsory to stay in hostel during your MBA.

The shortlisting for the interview was on the basis of CAT results. The cut off was 72 percentile. I scored 86 percentile. They also consider the overall profile of the candidate. The application form and deadlines can be found on the website of the institute.

There was an interview session. In that only an extempore was incorporated wherein i was given a very abstract word and I had to speak about it for 2 minutes. Then they moved on to the questions. Basic information which wasn't on my resume was asked, things about my hometown and what it is famous for.
