I personally interested in the domain of electronics and communication media that's why I opt Ece branch over CSe. The curriculum here is great. The curriculum provides a vast theoretical knowledge with such simplicity and presentation that helps to deal.with real world experience easily. It has various groups or clubs where one can connect to different business personalities etc. In my opinion course should be more practical oriented to create high level engineers. Teaching method is obviously good but the teachers should also make themselves more interactive which can help the students to deal with their academics. Two term exams are there which happens in a gap of 2months. On difficulty level I would say it is moderate and if you are too serious about your academics and you are always engaged with the course studies then it will be easy.

As I am in my first year I don't have any experience and expertise in internship. But students are getting internship offers from second year onwards. Generally the stipend varies from 30k and above , that depends on the scholars and the company.

From the 6th or 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies such as Microsoft, Mercedes benz , TCS , Vedanta , goldman sachs , L&T and a numerous companies which offer almost 900-1000. The highest package offered is 86lakhs in CS branch on campus and the average package of college is 16lakhs. Almost 96%-97% of students get placed. After getting the degree I want to persue ny career in VLSI design.

The course fee is divided in two aspects one is tuition fee ?62500 and another is other expenses which includes hostel, mess , medical fee , one time caution money etc. ?62500. There are numerous scholarship whicj are available such as FFE scholarship [?50k/yr], reliance scholarship [?50k/yr] , these are some private company which provide. On the govt. level each state has its own post matric scholarship for students , there are a lot different scholarships from state level for different eligible students. National govt. also provide scholarship. The alumni of college also give scholarship to few eligible scholars. people are getting internship offers in their 2nd year and 3rd year and placement offers in 4th year generally.

INNOVISION the tech fest of NIT rkl usually happens in october-november. COSMOPOLITAN the ethnic fest and NITRUTSAV the cultural fest occurs generally in winter and spring i.e. dec-jan-feb you can say. There is a vast collection of books , journals, research paper in the library in B'iju Pattnaik central library'. The classrooms are well equipped with smartboards , projectors, air conditioned and well furnished beaches. Talking about sports and extracurricular activities there is a very good opportunity to persue to your passion here. There are every type games played here and 80 different clubs in different domain which enhance the knowledge, connect , practical approaches of a students. "Cyborg' is the club which deals with the electronics and robotics, 'GDSC' , 'APS' are coding clubs , "ANC' the analytics club etc. . Besides there are few cultural clubs and sports clubs . The sports facilities are well equipped with their respective grounds and coats.

First year students are alloted a specific hostel. The rooms are not so large that is the rooms can not accommodate two persons but we have adjust here. That's ok. Hostel has its own gym , badminton court , volleyball court , basketball court , carrom board , chess board , study room , tv room etc. . Meal quality is decent as it s the mess you can expect more but it is good. Sometimes it will be worse. After the enrollment on the date alloted to you , you will come to the hostel with your admission letter where the chief of hostel will be ready for allot you a room with your floor preference .

One must be appear for jee mains exam and have to secure a good rank in the exam to enroll in the college. The application is available in the official website of "nta". Jee mains exam usually happens in two sessions in January and April followed by jee advanced which usually occurs in june. The applications dates for the exam starts a month before. If you are in general category then the cutoff are high while for sc, st students the cut offs are a bit lower. You can refer to " Jossa Opening and closing rank [year]" to reach out the ranks require for different branch. There is also relaxation in fee for the students of sc , st , and economically challenged from the govt. Side itself. The entrance exam occurs in two shifts. Difficulty level is moderate to difficult and it mostly depends on the shift of your paper. The main which makes the jee mains exam most difficult is the number of candidates appear for the exam. College must provide accaccommodation facility for the inductees.
