There where no staff for all subject for most of courses in our college
There was no lab facility. The machine that are their are not in working condition.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course was so unique. And I like to learn about the processing of different packed foods and beverages. Especially about beverage technology. In the syllabus, they mention beverage technology in the 7th seem but sadly since it was an elective course they didn't take this subject. Sufficient staff were not there. Exams are not so difficult.

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 58250 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For management students, the fee structure is 72000. But if you have above 75% then the fee will be 58250. Unnecessary charges are not there. They will charge for cultural programs. And also for placement training. If we don't attend placement training then also we have to pay.

Campus Life

Since this college was closure college, we were not given a permanent campus. Only one cultural program takes in a year. For my course, too many books were available in the library. There was no lab facility. There were no student-run social groups or clubs. Sports meets are held.

Hostel Facilities

Registration process of hostel was simple. In one room 4 - 5 (mostly 5) students has to stay, which was so difficult. First the food was good but later on the quality of food was so bad. Each year they increase the hostel fee. No washing machine is provided.

Hostel Fee: INR 68000 per year

Admission

I took admission through a nearby agency. The admission process was completely taken care of by the agency. Reservation is there based on caste and first graduation. No extra payment for the management seat. You can take admission directly from college after May.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Food technology in Dhanalakshmi srinivasan college

You can join through TNEA or by management seat. If you have joined through TNEA ( government quote) fees fill be less and additional you can get scholarship also. On other side management quote students don't get scholarship and they pay hung fees. College admission date will be announced in the official website you can check there. I Probably preferred to join through TNEA you can get many benifits. DSIRT Review

The college is good for studies and good facilities and good labs but it is kind of too stressful in the academics teachers put to much pressure in u and there are less cultural programs and don't focus on the extra curriculum activities and do not give importance for sports at all. It is like going for a repeat course or something when u get in that college but if you manage to find happiness around u will definitely miss it when u are not there.
