Hostel food are very bad and the timings should be changed

Sapthagiri is also good in curriculum activities. Highly skilled professional doctors also taking classes for students. Classrooms and teaching methods are very nice. There are so many well furnitured classrooms in our college

Our college provides internship for students after the completion of 3 year course.For nursing students interns are helding during their course. We have an own hospital for great internship experience

Fees and Financial Aid

Comparing to other medical colleges sapthagiri's fees are very less. Hostel is 2 year compulsory for allied health students and 3 years for nursing students. Hostel fees per year is 80000/- . Complete fees for my course including 2 years hostel fees is 340000 Rs/- .

Campus Life

Annually there is a great programme called aura in our college. Aura is great programme longing above one month. Aura inclludes sports, arts and cultural programmes. There are football, kabbadi, hockey, volleyball, cricket etc in our college

Hostel Facilities

Hostel food are not worth for money. They provides kerala food. There are 6 sharing and 4 sharing rooms. One kitchen and toilet in each room. Bathrooms are not well attached. Hostel timings are very strict. From 6 30am to 6 00 pm

Admission

Sims&rc is one of the best colleges in banglore for medical, paramedical and nursing courses. Our college provide highly practiced faculties and great facilities for education. Sapthagiri provides great medical experience for students in clinical postings. Sapthagiri have a own multispecality hospital

From Classrooms to Clinic : My College Journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

Aspects that made me choose this course : The course has strong clinic focus. It gives early ward postings and lab skill training. The mix of theory and clinical work made me choos it. The course gives hands-on skill in wards and lab. We learn case study, care plan and drug chart. It also improves our critical thinking skills during intervention. Areas to improve : More skill lab time can be added. More demo with new tech will help. More group talk snd case based learn can imrpove study. There are 2 internal exams each sem and one final exam. Exams are fair and needed daily study. They are not very hard if we prepare well.

Good Intership.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are available, but they are average and not very high level. The college conducts campus placement for our course, mainly in hospitals and related healthcare sectors. Many students get placed through college, but package is usually basic or entry-level. It is good for starting career and gaining experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is covered by theory classes as well as the practical hours, clinical posting time will be change in each semester. As for the exam each year is consist of two semesters, and each semester have two IA exam which coming up of the end semester eaxm. The difficulty of the subjects is based on how each student is will approaching the subject. As my experience of 3 years I felt like that the subjects will be get difficulted in each coming semester. And most of the subject will be having practical exam section which includes the osce section, which helps the students to improve the self confidence and good maintenance of interpersonal relationship. The 1 IA will on 3nd month of your semester starts and the 2 IA will be 1-2 months after your first IA anthe final end semester exam will be on the 6th month after the semester starts....

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've always wanted to do a professional course and I choose to nurse because it's a challenging yet rewarding profession. The faculty is well qualified and experienced with newer teaching-learning methods. I'm not quite sure about the student-to-faculty ratio. Exams are held annually. It really depends on the student but you have to do your part responsibly to make the most and learn.
