Information about NIT Jalandhar in Brief

The course & curriculam is fabulous. I will give eight out of ten. The course curriculum of textile technology at NIT Jalandhar is highly regarded for its relevance and comprehensiveness. It encompasses both traditional and modern aspects of the textile industry, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the dynamic field of textile technology.

The internship opportunity provided here at National institute of technology jalandhat is quite good. Many companies who visited for the placement also offer internship to second and third year students. They also got a desent package in internship. Big giants like amazon also offer internship one of my friend is doing intern in amazon.

The placement of my college depends on branch to branch. Some branch has very good placememt and some branch has not. If i talk about CSE,IT,ECE these branch have good pacakage around 12 LPA avergae CTC where if i talk about core branches like mechanical, chemical and textile they have very descent placement. Core companies visits every year for the placememt.

The fee structure is depends on category and family income of the student. Fee is divided into categories academic fee and hostel fee. Hostel feel includes service charge mess charge. Academic fee of General category student is around 65000, OBC student has to pay around 45000 and SC & ST students does not need to pay academic fee but they need to pay hostel charge & other charges. scholorship is also given to students who are very good in academics and who belongs to SC and ST category.

My overall experience with campus life at NIT Jalandhar was enriching. Socially, there were numerous opportunities to connect with peers through clubs, events, and cultural activities. Club involvement was encouraged, with options ranging from technical to cultural interests. The infrastructure was well-maintained, providing modern facilities for academics, sports, and recreation, enhancing the overall experience.

Hostel facility is quite good. We got almost every facility here like water cooler, washing machine, TV room, sports room, inner Gym, lawn. Facilities provided in the rooms are table, bed, chair, almira, balcony, fan, light etc. Meal quality is very good. We got almost different meal everyday. We have options both veg and nonveg. We got paneer thrice a week along with dal and seasonal vegetable. Registration process for hostel is quite simple you just need to go to hostel office at the time of room/hostel allotment.

I was appeared for the JEE for the admission process. It was happened in two phase. Out of two best score had been considered. Based on the score we had alloted respected college. Then we first have to submit documents to NTA and then had to submit the same to college. After verifying documents we got the admission.
