Entrance Preview
College rank in west Bengal was good and recommended by my senior for good study purpose. I was interesting to choose computer science and no seat vacant in list of my 8 college choices except AOT. There was 7 seat vacant at the time of my counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are total 8 semester of course. The Course contains 5 theory and 5 practical in every semester. So the total marks was 1000 in every semester. This course is not so tough, I was easily complete the courses at the end of semester and hope you will also complete.
Internships Opportunities
NO. Our college didn't provide any internship. I searched and done my internship own. I joined HP and complete my Internship.
Placement Experience
Placement is average. At my time TCS, L&T & Tech Mahindra came for placement. TCS Took only 37 students, L&T took only 6 students, Tech mahindra took 17 Students. Some others company also came but took 1-2 students. There are total 400 students in one batch and approx 80 students got placed.
College Events
There are 2 big events celebration in my college. Arcadia and Tech fiesta. Arcadia is cultural fest for dance, singing, kawali from 10 AM to 8 PM. The college also provide free breakfast and lunch. Its all about enjoyment day. Tech Fiesta is for competition in Sudoku, Robotics, Video Gaming etc. It is platform where everyone can show their talent. There are also some prize for winner. I got first prize Dradge n drop robot competition
Fee Structure And Facilities
At the time of my admission the fee got expensive. I Submit Rs 37500 for every semester. But my previous batch submit only 22500 for every semester. So previously fee was feasible but now it is expensive. I submitted 300000 for 4 years which is expensive at that time and also according the place.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no scholarship or loan given by our college. I applied scholarship from government so I got 30000 of scholarship every year. The gov directly gave the amount to my college and my college cut the amount in our semester fee.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel fee also expensive. 6500 for bed and 10000 for mess for 6 month, and the rule is to submit total amount of 6 month at a time. so it was expensive for me. I choose to live outside at a distance of 1 KM from college, and gave rent 700 and mess of 1200.
Alumni/Alumna
One best part of this college is that there is no ragging, neither in campus nor out campus. there is a strict rules for all students. the seniors was helpful.
Exam Structure
As I told earlier every semester contains 5 theory and 5 practical. So first practical exam held after 15 days gap theory paper was held. The examination date and questions set from the WBUT. The center of our exam in our college itself. There are total 3 hours exam both theory and practical.
Admission
After result got of AIEEE, I applied for the counselling for West Bengal colleges. I went at the given date of counselling. I already prepared the list of west Bengal colleges in which I want to get admission. I got AOT. After completion of counselling they gave me a date to go to the college with all documents and admission fee. I went the college and complete my admission process.
Faculty
All colleges have good and bad faculty. Some of the faculty was good some bad. I got good faculty in Maths, Graphics, DS, JAVA, Microprocessor. on other hand I got very poor faculty in CO, C, Physics, Digital. Overall faculty was helpful. They are trying to give their best.
