Bachelor of Commerce (Bcom) Honours has a very good scope in terms of career opportunities. It can be very helpful in your overall development. It is beneficial for students who want to make a career in banking sector.

The names of the companies are Ken Research, CBRE, Kotak Life, Snapdeal, TravClan, Scaler, ABP Network, INSPLORE, GoMechanic, fernsnpetals, Pregrad. The highest stipend offered is ?40000 per month. Profiles were offered in industries like legal, economics, fashion, baking, photography, storytelling, anchoring, fitness, journalism, analytics, brand management, SEO, and consulting.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements VI semester onwards. The names of companies visited are KPMG Global Services, EY GDS, D.E. Shaw Group, Genpact Enterprise Risk Consulting, Apeiron Management, Acies, Wipro, Jaro Education, Grant Thornton. The highest package is ? 36 lakhs per annum and average package is about ? 6 lakhs per annum. There has been a 74.4% increase in the number of students placed from 2021-22 to 2022-23.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost for B.Com hons including tuition fees, service fees and other compulsory fees is ?50000 per year being a day scholar. Sh Sultan Chand Memorial Scholarship is available for students who secure highest marks in Semester II of B.Com hons (above 70%) with a scholarship amount of ?3500.

Campus Life

There are many societies like for commerce there is a specific society named as COMSOC. Communique festival is typically held in the month of March by COMSOC. I had attended a podcast organised by ENSO (entrepreneurship society) in which Rajat Arora Sir was invited. The session was so enriching and insightful.

Admission

For Bcom(Hons) it is compulsory to have & be passed in XII class from commerce stream. And give CUET UG exam which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) one time in a year. All the application related details can be easily found on NTA's website. This course is highly competitive so you should try to score above 700 marks in order to get a seat in this course.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I have applied for I have applied for few of the north campus colleges and few other colleges from the South campus. I got confirmed admission form DCAC. I chose it because I am a tabla player and music society is very good. The admissions are generally accepted to CUET UG examination.
