Course Curriculum Overview
I got the overall technical knowledge and also came to know about the various machines, their working, operations performed on it and also the jobs done on it. Practicals were conducted in proper laboratories of the respective subjects.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, we were provided an internship to companies like TCS, Armstrong, ATC India, Cummins India, Mitsubishi, Wipro, Zarca Group, Mobisoft, etc. for 6 months. It was a good experience we got to know about the real industrial situations, various new things in the industry. The stipend paid was 10-15 thousand rupees.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario was good enough all were happy by the placement cell. Almost 90% of the students got placed. The companies which majorly visited the campus were TCS, Armstrong, ATC India, Cummins India, Mitsubishi, Wipro, Zarca Group, Mobisoft, etc. companies. The average package given was around 4-6 lacs.
College Events
Inter-college Technical Project Competitions, Technical Paper Presentation is held. Cultural events such as traditional day, tie day and saree day are celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was affordable to me as it was around 90,000. It was 90-95 thousand for open category students, 40,000 for some of the caste students coming under OBC and 5,000-10,000 for remaining caste students coming under the SC/ST category.
Hostel Facilities
I was not staying in the hostel. The hostels are good enough to stay and there are two different buildings for boys and girls. The food which is provided through the mess is of good quality. It charges 15000-20000 for one year and mess charges separately.
Alumni/Alumna
It was a good interaction with the alumni that visited the college. They shared their experience with us.
Faculty
Most of the staff members are doctorate and the remaining are ME, MTech and MS completed professors and all of them have more than 10 years of experience. Every faculty interacts in a different way some of them teach by walking around in the class, some stand in front and teach. The faculties teach with the help of PPT's, videos, practicals, models, etc.
