Course curriculum is very relevant and frequently different workshops webinars and seminars are organized to make the students industry ready. Semester exams are held by MAKAUT wich can be easily qualified if one have proper knowledge about the course subjects.

But regular project competition, Hackathons are organised regularly. SIH, SBH participation is also encouraged. Final year project is must. Also students have started their own entrepreneurship after successful project completion

Around 79%-80% latest placement record. The highest 12 lpa, lowest 2.4 lpa and average 4.2 lpa salary packages are offered during placement. Top Recruiting companies in Electrical Engineering are ODS, Bosch, Pinnacle, Manikaran Power Ltd, Capgemini, CTS, TCS, Amazon etc.

All kinds of scholarships provided by the government and other organizations are accepted here. SVMCM, Student Credit Card Scheme. Saksham Scholarship Scheme, etc On an average around 60000/- per semester scholarship is provided

Application form is available on college website. Qualifying JEE exam is must. On the basis of rank admission process is further processed. Anyone can alos apply for offline admission at college. Admission starts during July and August of every year

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
