Likes

Many sports facilities are available in kiit and I like Cricket and football.
Mentorship facilities are very good and useful too.
Gym and Swimming are also available in kiit. I joined gym since last year.

Dislikes

Class Attendance which is required 75 Percentage for everyone.
We faced cultural differences from local .
Mess food are not good here and outside food are not very affordable.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course which I choose is CSE .The course curriculum of cse is quite balanced and goes on updating according to the new trend and requirements.The exam is conducted in two phase mid semester and end semester examination conducted every semester.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 375000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Intership are available for those students who score good marks and CGPA above from 8.5 . Many intership opportunities are available for students paid and not paid it's on students what they choose. Companies like Cognizant are giving internship opportunity and gives good stipend . For intership,you have to make some projects like in web development and you have to good in DSA also

Placement Experience

In the sixth semester, students are eligible for campus placements and also internship for many companies. Many companies come here every year like Wipro made 200 offers and more ,TCS made 200 offers and many more, Cognizant, Microsoft and many more. Highest CTC is 64 lpa from YugaByte Software ltd. More than 80 percentage of students are placed in kiit. My plans are simple and clear to have a excellent job .

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee of kiit university is 175000 per semester and it goes on fluctuating every year . Scholarship amount of 4 lakh is provided for the students who got rank below 1000 in kiitee examination.

Campus Life

There is a kiit fest which is conducted every year in February time and is continue upto 3 din .At the final day there is a star night in which there is too fun .The classroom is quite big and spacious.The sports infrastructure is quite good and provide ample opportunity to the students interested.There are many society which you can participate and work on ground -level and gain some experience.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facilities are good but they choose room for you and doesn't matter your personal preferences. Mess food is average and sometime here insect also found in food. Hostel Registration process are very easy to be fillup ,when we fill our fees then we also have to do our mess fees. If any further happens then we also get warden to handle our problems.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

There is exam called KIITEE which is conducted in 4 phase and the registration link is there in the kiit official site.The one who score above 70 percentile got cse branch and it's too easy to get CSE in kiit university

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Things about kiit

You have to give kiitee exam the exam is tough but cutoff is low but there is no benefit of reservation. Exam fee is zero. I think cutoff should be increase be as there is lot of students but less than srm and vit. Hope you like this review...Read More
