Course Curriculum Overview
They offer a variety of options in the courses and I am satisfied with the teaching faculty. They have actually integrated a lot ofcomputer and IoT related seminars for the students. We also have many competitions like Ideathon, Hackathon and etc. They could have improved the lab facilities in our college as the computers really suck
Internships Opportunities
Students carry out mini projects in many courses across the semesters so that it improves the understanding of fundamentals through practical application of theoretical concepts. The companies that provide internship are EdgeVerve,Accenture,Tata Elxsi,Pegasystems. Through Internships, students get practical exposure to professional work environment.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester students can start taking internship programmes from various companies and start ups. We have tie ups with companies like Nvidia,Tata TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Etc. The package on the year of 2023 was 65 laks per annum. The average package is 10 lakhs per annum. Almost 90% of the students get placed in various companies. I have taken data science as a course under the computer science and engineering department. We have a good package too.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees for the students getting admitted through KCET is 1 lakh for a year and for students getting admitted through COMEDK the fees is 2.5 lakhs per year. I really don't have any suggestions as nobody cares about our opinion. I hope that they improve the admission process(in the college) by just following the rules that they post in their website, as they start asking for new documents which they don't mention in their brochure. This is all the info that I know about my college and by the way it is a good college with amazing placement opportunities.
Campus Life
Campus Life is really good compared to many college in Bengaluru. We have a lot of trees in our campus which feels really refreshing and amazing. We already had many fests in our college wherein they invited many celebrities and it was a lot of fun. I think we have sports from the upcoming months so really looking forward. We have a cricket and basketball ground and a table tennis court in our hostel. And also we have clubs like CPA, IEDC, etc., which builds the students to be an entrepreneuror a businessman.
Hostel Facilities
We have two types of hostel facilities, Indian hostel and NRI hostel. The fee structure for Indian hostel is 100000 for a year and NRI hostel it is 196000 lakhs per year. Once we get the fee receipt of the admission from the college, we should give it to the hostel warden so that he can verify and allotment of the room will be done. In Indian hostel we have 3 sharing rooms and a common bathroom for a single floor. In the NRI hostel we have a two sharing room with an attached bathroom for every room. Mess food is kind of OK, but compared to the PGs around the college it's far better but a bit costly.
Admission
I got admitted to this college through the KCET entrance exam, which is only open for students studying in Karnataka. The students from other states of the country can join the college by qualifying the COMEDK exam. We only get reservation facilities in KCET exam but not in the COMEDK. I think the difficulty level is medium as the exams are easier, compared to JEE. Both the exams are held once in a year. Thank you
