It's a good course. Practical learning is not good here. There are 2 projects in a course. I took the Data base management system as elective.

Internships Opportunities

No college didn't provide any internship yet. I am in my third year. After completing 3rd year we will do an internship. Amount and company not decided yet.

Placement Experience

Average package 5 lakh Percentage of 90 Major companies visited: Deloitte, Infosys, Cognizant, Robert bosh, Wipro. Most of the cs it students get placement. Civil mechanical branches don't get much jobs here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In 2015 fees were 110000 per semester. Food 15000 per sem. Accommodation 17500 per semester. Exam fees every semester 1000. Registration fees every semester 1000.

There are ac hostels and non-ac hostels. Non-ac hostels have rooms shared by 3 students. There is a separate hostel for fresher's.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Yes, there is good interaction between college alumni and students.

Faculties are well qualified and experienced. The standard of teaching is okay. Most teachers don't take much interest in students. They teach just to clear exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

The admission process requires KIITEEE examination that is conducted by kiit University which is free of cost. The eligibility criteria for entrance exam is 12th passing certificate. All information regarding application form, fees and dates are available on the kiit official website. I didn't avail reservation so I have no idea about this regard. Not too good but too bad too

I want to do BTech so for that course criteria is 12th pass with pcm and you can find application forms online and it's free for KIIT University. I didn't see any reservation benefits but it must be there and I just want that one improvement they should explain everything briefly because if it is new to me then I'm not able to understand it in a few words....Read More
