Course Curriculum Overview
All the facilities of my Course i.e electrical engineering are very experienced and good . Maximum facilities are PHD from Jadavpur University or any IIT so the qualification of the faculties are very good.

Our college gives on campus inten role to most of the students and further students also get off campus internship opportunities for working in many projects and help students to enhance the knowledge of their respective fields
Placement Experience
Students of our college is eligible for placement from 6th semester and many MNCs like Flipkart Amazon Celebal Technology Haldia Petrochemicals Bengal Beverages LNT Voltas visit in our college for on campus placement and the placement records of our college is very good since almost 90-95% students is being placed in our college ..
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of my college i.e JGEC is very affordable specially for core department the fees is 36000 for 4 years and also most of the students whose financial condition is weak get the scholarship name SVMCM of 2.4lac for 4 years so the financial pressure on the students is negligible.. Further since past 3-4 years the placement of college is improving drastically and our alumni network is very strong so 99% of our college student is being placed in a reported company
Campus Life
JGEC has a very huge campus of 168 acres however since it is a government college the infrastructure of our college is not so satisfying but the relation between seniors and juniors is very good and approximately 15+ clubs are active in this college..
Hostel Facilities
The room of our hostels are ok and the food provided is very hygienic both veg and non veg food is provided so students who are veg will never face any difficulty living in the hostel the we get 24/7 water lan access in the hostel
Admission
You have to clear WBJEE exam to get this college.The cutoff of college for General candidate is approx 500-7000 to get any branch in this college.The eligibility criteria of this college is you must pass class 12 with any board with a minimum percentage of 40%.
