Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to take CSE because of my interest in computer science. Like other colleges they have the same curriculum but the teavhing strategy is not very good. The college should focus more on the placements.

Internships Opportunities

Internships from the companies like jaypee morgan chase offered the internship for the 2nd year and a full time job for the 3rd year students. With the stipend of internship of 75000. Companies like high radius, delloite also offer the internships in the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The good thing about this course andthe college is that the fees is constant throughout the duration. You have to pay a fixed amount everytime you enroll into a new semester. The completion cost here will require 20-25 lakhs including hostel and mess for this course. They offer scholarships based on the merits of KIITEE. If you are ranked under 1000 then are eligible for the scholarship.

Campus Life

They have various fests ...kiit karnival..kiit fest etc. In the month of usually february and march. They also peovide the availability of libraries even at night. i.e 24*7. The scope of extracurricular activities is very high here in this college as it provides a platform for various activities and there are several student run clubs for the progress of skills.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels have their separate study rooms which are open all the time for studies. The meal quality is just okay....not very much bad but yeah at the same time not very much good also. You have to register for the hostel after he or she gets the process details after selection.

Admission

The eligibility of the course (CSE) is that you must have cleared the entrance exam of KIIT which is KIITEE and must score good. The application form is available on kiit.ac.in . At our time the entrance exam was free of cost. The KIITEE exam starts from the month of march and is divided into different phases. The exam seems to be difficult but it is actually easy if you go to solve the questions by your own. Just be very attentive regarding the dates of the entrance exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Things about kiit

You have to give kiitee exam the exam is tough but cutoff is low but there is no benefit of reservation. Exam fee is zero. I think cutoff should be increase be as there is lot of students but less than srm and vit. Hope you like this review...Read More
