Likes

I liked the extra curriculum activities facilities that kiit collage provides , it's really up to the mark.
I like the teacher qualities that kiit brings to students.
I like the freedom that student have here, there is no such restrictions in here.

Dislikes

I dislike the hostel food sometime as it's come be unhygienic some time.
I dislike the classroom technology which is good but needs an improvement considering modern technology.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is quite good . They are properly designed by top iit and nit professionals and is being carried out since long time. And it have all acces to extra curriculum activities and societies.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 175000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is 175000 per semester. If you rank under 1000 in kiitee entrance exam then you have the scholarship of 10k per month by the kiit university. And you have maintain 7.5 cgpa through out the whole course duration for able to receiving 10k per month scholarship.

Campus Life

The kiit collage provides all extra curriculum activities. The campus is so big 7000 sq km that you can have all the facilities needed in college life. Everything from a swimming pool to all types of playgrounds is available. Overall you have access to all the things you need, just you should know how to grab them.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are quite well enough. We have to pay 22500 per semester as Hostel fees. We get different types of menu every 2 weeks, we get all day food like breakfast, lunch dinner, snacks in evening. The food is unlimited expect some food like eggs, banana, chicken that are limited.

Admission

Admission process was smooth . Kiitee entrance exam is conducted all over globe for Admission process. My rank was 8214 and percentile was 79, i got selected for cse branch in yr 2022. There is no such aspect that i don't like of Admission process of kiit .

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Things about kiit

You have to give kiitee exam the exam is tough but cutoff is low but there is no benefit of reservation. Exam fee is zero. I think cutoff should be increase be as there is lot of students but less than srm and vit. Hope you like this review...Read More
