The course is good enough to gain both practical and theoretical knowledge. According to the education system in India, the focus on practical knowledge was decent but not as good as abroad. ya many research initiatives are taken.

College provide internship for only mining engineering students rest all others have to apply themselves. the experience was decent overall. The stipend amount was different by every company, but minimum 10000-15000 stipend amount was provided.

Placement scenario is average but good for cse. for different branches there is a different percentage of placement. In mining engineering, the placement scenario was different every year but it was better than most of the branches. The companies which visited were- Amazon Ashok Leyland Bajaj Auto Limited Coal India DRDO Future First Jindal group L & T Group MOIL Morgan Stanley Oracle Reliance Group Snapdeal TATA Group Vedanta Group ZS Associates the avg package of mining engineering is 5.5 lakhs.

Technical fest-AXIS, cultural fest-AAROHI, managerial fest-CONSORTIUM the fests were quite big and the participation was from different parts of India. I myself was the part of organizing a team of cultural fest AAROHI.

Yes, the college provides scholarship but to only those students who are sc, st or have an annual income less than 1 lakh. Actually, the scholarship is provided by the government. No, I did not avail any scholarship as I was a general category.

Yes, I am residing in the hostel. In the 1st year, you get a 4 person sharing a room, in 2nd year 3 persons sharing a room and in 3rd and 4th year you get a single room for each person. But new hostels are in construction for 1st and 2nd-year students, which might be double sharing room. No, they did not have Pg's but have enough number of hostels. fees of the hostel are 36000 per semester. Food is average but is better than most of the colleges. You get 4 times a meal in a day. and specials feasts on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. There is food for both veg and nonveg.

Some of the teachers are highly qualified and experienced, others are average. teachers are quite interactive. The standard of teaching is high and detailed knowledge is given. some teachers are friendly too.
