Very good clinical exposure and good faculties -curriculum and clinical exposure make you well-experienced - faculties can be more students friendly - exam conduct in strict and moderately difficult and conduct yearly

Internships Opportunities

We can do internship in jipmer it self with stipend of rupees 6000 ,it provides good clinical exposure and can learn With various disease types,good equipments and it's good experience as nursing student,but comparatively stipend is low

Tution fee is comparatively so low, first year rupees 11410 and next year onwards rupees 5760 - complete fee is 5760 - scholarship is available in national scholarship portal and respective State - stipend for compulsory internship included in the course

College Fest spandan held in September/August and interclass through all year - college library and central library with large number of books - every classroom is air conditioned and including well public address system and projector - every sports matches like cricket, volleyball, football,futsal -jipmer students association and students nurse association

From second year onwards we are posted in our respective departments and classes are given by the professors and residents in the cardiology department

JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
