Course Curriculum Overview
I didn't face any difficulties about the frequency and timings of exam as they gave enough time for preparation. The curriculum they are following is that compulsory 75 percent attendance and the 50 percent for academic marks should not be followed for bsc courses because of this rule our friends are getting detained.
Internships Opportunities
In internship we get a good stipend of rupees 4950. We have an opportunities to learn with all type of instruments with various patients each of different cases. I can clinically improve myself during internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are really low when compared to the other government or private medical colleges. The complete cost for my first year is 11410 and the subsequent years are 5760 and we have compulsory internships having stipend of 4950.
Campus Life
In my college they will conduct an annual festival known as Spandan as a very big event that includes all shows, games, crafts. Jipmer has a superb library that includes all types of medical books and a good relaxing place for students.
Admission
Eligibility includes completion of 12 standard and should pass in the neet exam. All the application related things will be displayed in the jipmer website. They will allot seats based on roaster form that they have but it is not judicial, actually they should allot based on neet marks
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio in my first year is 12:87. The junior resident, and the senior Resident, and the professor have taught the class nicely by using ppt slides, board, etc,.. But in second year the things are quite opposite.
