Likes

Very good campus with beautiful infrastructure.
Faculty is very supportive in all aspects, teaching is really good.
Sport facilities are also good, there's a football field and basketball court, etc.

Dislikes

They sometimes rush through the syllabus.
Less encouragement towards extracurricular activities.
Vehicle parking is too congested and cluttered.

Course Curriculum Overview

My college is autonomous, so it follows vtu curriculum but at its own pace. Syllabus is good and decided by our college itself. Curriculum is good with multiple laboratory sessions which help for real world applications. Frequency is good, we have enough time for preparing for exams.

Internships Opportunities

Our college offers internships at the end of every even semester. They encourage us to do internships or certified courses offline. They give us opportunities and encourage us to do mini projects pertaining to the course.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements after their sixth semester exams. Highest package is 45lpa and average package is 10lpa. More than 95% of students are getting placed every year. I haven't made my plans yet.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have entered through KCET, so the fees is as allotted by KCET itself. Currently no hike in fees. College fees is around 1lakh. I haven't received any scholarship as of now. I have heard that campus placement is good, I haven't taken any job roles as of now.

Campus Life

Currently I'm in second year, till now there have been three fests: Vibrations and Furore that occur every alternate years, and Taranga which happened for the first time this year 2024 at the new campus of Dayananda Sagar Harohalli. Library is very accessible and has good amount of book collection. It has projectors in every classroom. Sport events occur once a year. There are good clubs.

Admission

I appeared for KCET exam. Found the application online in kea website. I could view details of cutoff on the website itself. Exam was easy with enough time gap of 2 months between boards. Admission process could happen a little quicker.

the curriculum is practical up to date and the assignments are project based that encourages better understanding. the assignments are also real world based that require ,the students, to undestand the subjects better. there are 3 internal test with lab tests include that test the student's knowledge in the subject

the eligibily might be from 3rd year. There are several companies such as capegemini hitachi patym dmart. 700 offers are offered. Highest is 25 lakh and average is around like 5 lakh. After the completion of my degree i would like to persue higher studies like MS.

Placement Experience:

Placement stats are pretty good, offers above 50LPA have also been granted to students, but they are not as common. With a good cgpa, 5+ LPA can be ensured. Students from 6th sem become eligible for placements, companies such as TI, Apple, Daimler Trucks etc have come for placements

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus selection. A lot of companies visit like Bosch, Amazon, Flipkart, aequs, and many more. Around 40% of students get placements in the visited companies. My plan is to start a business by own.

I had some priorities in the colleges and I placed the colleges in the same order Dayananda Sagar College of engineering was in my 6th option and after me getting my ranking i saw the previous year cutoff and I was sure that Dayananda Sagar College wil be the college i will get according to my option entry and my rank And i was also fixed to this college itself I didn't see the above 5 colleges as my option because my ranking and the college cutoff was not matching and had great difference and i didn't got admission to any other college i directly got admission in the same Dayananda Sagar College after the allotment through the dcet exam I wrote the dcet exam after completing my diploma they take the average of last year of diploma and the dcet score and average them and give the ranking these are the main criteria and the college gives space for students according to the categories given from the government for each category certain seats should be given to those category students itself like that...Read More

“I applied to a few other higher-ranking COMEDK colleges, but because of my low rank I did not get good CSE-based branches in those colleges.
