Huge campus and eco-friendly environment
Security and safety is available everywhere in the campus.
Affordable fees for the students. Central library is 24/7 available.

Dislikes

Year back system. Even failed for 1 subject should repeat the whole year.
Attendance is very important. Any attendance shortage would not be allowed to write University examination.
Academic pressure. You have to deal with it.

Most allied health course in the country does not have dissection in their curriculum, in jipmer ahs students also have to study practical aspect as well. From second year onwards we are posted in our respective departments and classes are given by the professors and residents in the cardiology department

Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. This is a great college where you will have a assured future

In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
