Course Curriculum Overview
As I'm a commerce student and i wanted to become a company secretary so i chose bcom hons because somewhere there syllabus is same a bit.You can get a well knowledge of accountancy and law at the same time. And you can get the exposure which will help you to find a good business ideas. The only thing I Don't like about this course is the syllabus is huge but the timing is very less.
Internships Opportunities
You can get a chance to do internship in Deloitte, fincart, sky trust, suntech engineers, and many more for roles like research analyst, business development, sales representative, human resource with stipend of 5000-10000.
Placement Experience
After 3rd year you are eligible for campus placements. Campus placement of our college is so good. Visited companies in dyal singh are Deloitte, Wipro, hdfc Bank, ICICI Prudential etc. You can get average package of 5 LPA and max package of 20LPA. But I want to pursue professional course so I'm studying for it with my college
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is a government college the fees is very low as compared to other private college like I'm from bcom hons and my fees was around 14 thousand for whole course. And even you get chances to do internships with college if you are interested.
Campus Life
You're going to enjoy campus life a lot. Like you will have annual fest every year and there are numbers of societies in college eg.for dance, music, art, marketing and so on. you can join the societies if you want. Dyal singh have the biggest ncc ground in whole DU. And there are so many places for playing sports.
Admission
Firstly you have to fill the cuet form for getting admission in any colleges of delhi university and you can select only those subjects which you have studied in 12th (it is mandatory) eg. For bcom hons- you must have studied accountancy, business studies, economics. You can fill the cuet application form here https://www.sarvgyan.com/articles/cuet-2024?utm_source=Google+CUET+2024&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwk6SwBhDPARIsAJ59Gweh7bfE33AxrZhIExVdJVG-1AEXAwyc2lE8VhUf55PNWzrH3GlL5PIaAkqHEALw_wcB and application fee is around 1000 but it depends on your category. After applying, you have to appear for the exam and your score should be more than 700(general) , 600(obc), 500(sc,st). Cuet exams are not that tough if you have studied well in 12th but just focus a bit more on ncert and practice more and more MCQs. I hope this will help you and all the best for your bright future.
