Course Curriculum Overview
• Choosing Electronics and communication can be open your ways to both hardware and software sectors. • The curriculum is made looking into further academic pursuits and real world applications. • Although various different subjects is required to study in this curriculum, according to me some subjects are unnecessary for engineering students.
Placement Experience
• After 6th semester students are eligible for Campus placements. • TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Capegemini etc. companies are visited. • Highest package of 42 LPA is given by Amazon and average package is 3 LPA. • Almost more than 80% students get placed. • My plan is to go for Campus placement to secure a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
• Currently when you take admission the college will provide you the 4 year fees structure which is not changed during the course but each year a small fees increment is take place. • The complete cost of education including tution, service fees is around ?505,000. • The most popular scholarship is the government sponsored SVMCM scholarship which gives you ?60,000 per year if you scored more than 60%. • Campus placement is available in 3rd year.
Campus Life
• The annual fest YAGVIK is held generally in may and numeros other department organised fests are held in different periods. • The library consists of wide range of books and the library management system is recently updated which is great. • All the classrooms are equipped with basic facilities and some classroom also have some smart classroom features. • Annual sports is held in march and numeros indoor and outdoor games are available for participating.
Admission
• You can take admission by WBJEE, JEE MAINS, or you can opt for direct admission. • Application form, fees and dates can be found in the official website of the college which can be found in google easily. • Only selected scholarships for reservation can be availed. • There are 4 CA exams which are according to MAKAUT curriculum and 2 PCA exams in a semester. Basically we have to give 1 exam in every month. • Admission process can be digitalized for less inconvenience for students.
