Course Curriculum Overview

The course where good, practical learning was also there but there is no research initiatives taken by the institute. I choose chemistry as secondary.

Internships Opportunities

There wasn't any internship provided, since there wasn't any internship I cannot comment on the experience and the stipend.

Placement Experience

Placements were okay, not sure about the percentage though. There where many BPO, KPO, Banking and IT sectors. The average package during that time would be around 15K

College Events

There were many cultural events, one big event is deepwoods which will be happening for 3 consecutive days. There will be around 10K students attending from across all colleges in the city in these 3 days put together. There will lot of sponsors for this cultural and some will be contributed by the organization as well. Apart from this there are many cultural activities

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since I studied in day college, the entire course cost was only around 25K. The fee struture was reasonable. The fees are paid semester basis so easy to afford.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not sure whether there is any scholarship, because I didn't avail any scholarship. I didn't get any loan either since the fee was very much affordable and paid out of my fathers pocket for all semester.

Hostel Facilities

I wasn't residing in the hotel, but few of my college mets were. Hostel rooms are good. we have 1 room for each. Food are really decent and I am not sure about the cost of the hostel.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni interactions are average. I dont think college has provided a great platform for student-alumni interaction. Of course there are few alumni who contributes in the college development but not to a very great extent

Faculty

The faculty are very much experienced and friendly. Almost all the professors has Phd and has experience more than 15 yrs. Teaching was normal, no extra ordinary steps taken. Most of the times the classes will be boring. No initiatives taken for the poor performers to get better.

A College that builds knowledge,confidence and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography,the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate,which helps in consistent preparation,however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning,and modern teaching methods

WCC the inside and out

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is a famous one and it is studied by many higher officials. The faculty is very good and talented, students ratio is 500:900. All teachers were educated by Ph.D. and each teacher has their own capability. Exam papers are very good and were easy to pass the since where questions were interactive.

A view on recent days MCC

First there is no test admission it purely based on your cut off mark and first come first serve. The factors that made me choose Madras Christian College were it's tradition and culture, in mcc we have rich culture and traditions which took places throughout the year, I get to know about this from my brother. A life in MCC

I have a applied up to 8 college and I got selected from all the 8 colleges First one Guru Nanak Second one Vivekananda College Third MCC Fourth Loyola Thomas College Sixth dgv 7th Hindustan College And SRM ramapuram I have choose the MCC College because it has good amount of surroundings and and good amount of environment which are useful for the people who are studying there and they have different types of cultures and people all over from India you studying in the college. Nmcc there are 70% of the people are from Kerala on 30% from Chennai. So colleges good campus interview on teaching skills on speaking skills and kind hearted person.
