Course Curriculum Overview
.The curriculum focuses on both theory and practice . Good clinical exposure is available . Teaching methods could be improved . Internal assessments are conducted regularly and university exam at the end
Internships Opportunities
. The students can enrol in internship programmes after course completion and they get a stipend of around Rs. 5000 per month. . The interns are expected to perform all the necessary tasks required in that position.
Fees and Financial Aid
.The fees do not increase ever year . The tuition fees is Rs. 11000 for first year and then around 6000 every following year . Central and state scholarships can be availed . No campus placements are offered however internships are offered
Campus Life
. The annual fest is known as SPANDAN . The JIPMER central Library is open 24x7 and has wifi collection and has good collection of books . Classrooms are air conditioned, have projectors and screens. . Sports facilities for all major sports are available in the college including football, cricket, hockey, badminton etc . Tech groups, sports, music clubs are run by students. .
Admission
-NEET score and rank is the basis of eligiblity -The necessary information will be available on the JIPMER website -OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD resevations can be availed -NEET is conducted every year usually in the months May - July. -The admission process could be started a bit earlier
