Course Curriculum Overview
The Civil Eng. course covers a wide range of fileds like structural eng. , transportation eng. , environmental eng. , geotechnical eng. , hydrologics eng. Projects , internships and lab can prepare students for real-world applications which is provided in this course. Many times field visit is organised to provide student with real-world applications. Only improvement that can be done is integrating new emerging technologies in this course(like AI/ML). In each semester mid-sem and end-sem occurs in between quizes are taken. Exams are not so much difficult unless you donot attend classes.
Internships Opportunities
Various internships opportunitues are available for different profiles like SD, DA, Consulting ,Product management etc by companies like GOOGLE ,Facebook,Microsoft ,Quant etc. with stipend upto Rs 1,00,000/- per month. Projects are made as per the respective profile you are sitting.
Placement Experience
After 7th semester students are eligible to sit in placements. Various companies visit our campus like GOOGLE, Microsoft, Facebook, Deloite, etc. The highest package was Rs 1.8 cr and average package is Rs 20 lakhs. Placement for profiles like developer(backend and frontend) , consulting, product management,Data scientist and analitics, WEB 3 ,quant ,etc Placement of 80% happens. After getting degree i want to pursue for MBA fron Wharton University.

Campus Life
Campus life is very good here. We have various types of fest including Departmental fests. But the major fests include Kashiyatra and Technex. For books and journals there are wide range of books availabe in library .It not only contains academic levels but also philosophical books,etc. In classrooms professor teach us using projectors and laptops. We have various sports team for cricket , football, boxing, squash,badminton,etc. For the sports various grounds like Rajputana, ADV ground and Gymkhana ground. There are various clubs are SCS, Music ,COPS , Astro, business ,etc.They develop interest of students in various fields.
Hostel Facilities
Various facilities provided are:- 1. 24 hour electricity and water 2. Mess service 3. Rooms are non-AC Mess food quality is fine and the menu is different for different days. Mess fee is Rs 15000/- and for room it is Rs 500/- per month.After taking admission you are already alloted a room in hostel.
Admission
For admissions in IIT firstly a candidate should do 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths then he/she will give JEE Mains in which they have to secure abov 90 percentile .After this they should be appear for JEE Advanced in which they have to secure atleast 7000 AIR. The appllication form , application fees and appllication dates are available on NTA and JEE Advanced official sites. Candidate can appear for JEE Mains for two times in each consecutive three years and as for JEE Advanced they can give it for 2 consecutive years. JEE Advanced is world's second toughest exam and as for JEE Mains it is far more easier than JEE Advanced.
