Course Curriculum Overview
I got civil engineering in JoSAA, was interested, now in 1st year. Learning general courses, not core yet. 1st semester includes engineering mechanics, Waves and optics, C Language programming, Mathematics, etc. 2nd semester covers Chemistry for energy application, Communicative English, Basic electrical engineering, Basic electronics engineering, etc. Curriculum is good, but 1st year feels outdated. Suggest adding branch core subjects. Semesters last 4-5 months, with mid and end exams. Exams are moderate."
Internships Opportunities
I haven't done any internship as In 1st yr. So I can't answer properly. but as I have got to know, you can have internships in 3rd year and it depends on companies to companies for stipend. But if you have proper skills and projects in your CV, u r good to go. As seniors have said,I have written here.

Fees and Financial Aid
There is no such tuition fee increase policy as the tuition fee remains same since last some years. The complete cost is estimated around 8 lakhs as I don't fall under any fee waiver scheme. Each semester about 1 lakh. A number of scholarships are available here.. Government, Private,Alumni scholarships and fee waiver scheme is also there. If your income level under 1 Lakh, then complete tuition fee is waived. If income in between 1 lakh and 5 lakh, You have to pay only 1/3rd tuition fee and if your Income is above 5 lakh, then you have to pay full tuition fee.
