- College life is very good as an individual get more friends from various parts of India and they share their culture, food and it's a good experience

Dislikes
- Hostels are not so good.like this are very old hostels built around 1960-70.but the hostels which are newly built are so good.
- There are no good restaurants to eat nearby the college . We have to go Mangalore to have good lunch or dinner
- The climate here is very humid. We take more time to adapt this conditions and to live here.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering offers diverse job offers and about curriculum , the syallabus what we studied helps us in lab and labaratory are well equipped and with best professors of the country. We can learn everything in detail. And we can invent new machines and the faculty supports everyone who has an idea of a startup
Internships Opportunities
Actually the internships starts from 4th semester and I am from 2nd semester.so not so sure about them but our most of the seniors got selected for internship from various companies and colleges. This helps to get a job in the same company
Placement Experience
In our college some students from 6th semester get placements due to the internships offered by other colleges or companies. As I am from 2nd semester I don't know much about companies visited and offers made. But no of students getting placed is above 90%. My plan after getting degree is to join a job and earn well.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no tuition fees for students who have income less than 1 lakh per annum. The hostel fees and other service charges costs around 80000/- per year and around 320000 for four years. There are various scholarships one can get according to the category they belong from such as NSP, FFE etc.. there are various clubs in which u have to take roles and responsibilities and it helps out in the future
Campus Life
There are 2 fests conducted every year. The first one is ENGINEER and it Is a technical fest conducted around October of every year in odd semester and the other one is INCIDENT and it is a technical fest conducted around March of every year in even semester. There are 2 libraries in our college central library and e- library we can get various books and journals from the library. Every class is equipped with projector and well equipped furniture. There is a college team for every sport and they conduct various types of sports events throughout the year. our college website IRIS is run by ourselves and various social groups.
Hostel Facilities
We can get bed , almirah , fans and study table in our hostel room. The hostel is not so good but okaish. The meal quality is good and as I am from South India I feel like more dishes are made of North India so sometimes it feels difficult to eat but menu has also wide range of varieties. We can easily book our hostel room and mess through our college portal.
Admission
The application form mean we have to write JEE mains and apply through JoSAA counciling , EWS,OBC,SC,ST,PwD have seperate reservations. JEE mains exam is held twice in a year and exam is in moderate level. Collect all the documents before application to avoid last minute hurry
