A college and college life becomes very essential part of every student's life In this college one can enjoy a real college life there is no pressure of studies on students one has a lots of opportunities along with study the key highlights of this colleg

Since LD is a government engineering college the admission is generally given on the basis of 60% of the GSHEB Board marks and 40% of the JEE entrance exam.

The course is designed by the GTU by very highly qualified faculties the faculties of this college are very well aware about the whole curriculum.They are very qualified and experienced faculties any student can meet them for his/her doubt and the faculties will surely help him/her with a great pride.

I haven't experienced yet but i know that so many big companies come to our college and give the amazing opportunity of internship in their company.

Placements one of the best thing of this college so many companies come to give placement such as- L&T, Reliance, Accenture, Ford motors, Mahindra&Mahindra, Linde, TCS, Coca Cola etc.The average package is around 3.5 lacs last year 43 students were placed only from the department of electrical engineering and from the college about 200-300 students were placed the training and placement cell of our college doing a really very great job.

Every year there are so many festivals and activities held by the college some of them are Tech fest, Cultural fest, Garaba program, so many social events in fact every year the central GTU tech fest is held by our college.There are so many clubs are running in our college throughout the year such as Robotics, Vox populi-the magazine of college, Advanature club etc all the festivals are very grand and so many students take part in it enthusiastically.

The college contains both boys as well as girls hostel the rooms are given on the basis of merit the hostel fees are also very nominal the students can get the room on sharing between 3-4 students in case hostel rooms are full one can also go for PG there are so many PG facilities available near by the college the average rental of PG is about 3000-4000 per month.

Government scholarships are available after 12th standard one can get the scholarship under MHRD Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship there are some scholarships for the people who belong to obc,sc,st or minorities by the government.

LD has an enormous campus. it's the biggest college in state it has a rich biodiversity one can also see peacocks dancing in monsoon In some fields the number of girls is less compared to boys,such as mechanical, civil,automobileThe students from all the religions came to the college and there is no discrimination among then In fact some NRI students are also there this college is government college so the economic status is very well government grants for various activities also.

The seniors are very helpful in so many ways they give advise related to hostel mess importance of faculties etc which becomes very important for any 1st year student who is totally unaware about all the college related things.
