What Students Say

Likes

You can have the best campus life and You have friendly staffs here.
The college has nearly 2 small canteens and 2 big restaurant
We have offered 10th gen ipad for study purpose and it is to be offered for all students

Dislikes

The mess good is not completely good.You can eat in the college restaurant.
The portions are rushed to complete before the month of semester
The campus is not famous yet and the construction works are to be continued still.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Teaching is comparatively good and the exams are nearly tough.You have many facilities in the college to learn for the exam.You may have nearly 2-3 cycle test for semester,you can score easily in this.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee if you are staying in hostel means you have to pay 3,65,000.The tution fee for CSE is 2,00,000 and the career development fee is 40,000 and hostel fee is 55,000 and mess fee is 70,000 if you are dayscholar bus charge is applicable.SRMJEE scholarship is applicable based on rank anad sports scholarship is also available.

You can have the best campus life here and the class infrastructure is very good and the hostel rooms are good.You have the sport's day for every year and the games are conducted.And the college has many events and one of the major event is Florence

The Hostel is good according to facilities and it is little far distance from college and the menu is two days non-veg per week but the food is not taste as compared to fee.There are PG rooms available outside the college

Admission

I have written the SRMjee entrance exam,it is easy when compared to other colleges.I got 721th rank in the entrance exam.I were eligible to join in all SRM campus,but I got scholarship in Trichy campus so I selected and the e-counselling took place in the online itself.If you got 50% on class 12 boards then you are eligible to join college.The registration fee for exam is 1200rs.And after selecting the alloted seat the registration fee for college is 10000 which is included in fee.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

I applied for JIIT-Noida, SNU Noida but due to non preferrable branches i was getting i opted out and thought of giving SRMJEEE. No i didn't got rejected from the above mentioned colleges, just because i was not getting the desired branch , i left. Just SRM things

The university which i applied before SRM University was Chandigarh University, i wrote cucet exam and got 30-40% scholarship, but later i cancelled going over there because the campus life over there is very stressed and the faculties are not so well trained in some fields, the fee structure was quite higher compare to srm even after writing its scholarship exam and the last reason was travelling to North side and meeting my family rarely, so i decided not to go there and wrote srmjee exam.
