- Great faculty , as in different colleges EEE is too hard but here nothing seems like that. I feel it is because of faculty
- Campus life, we don't only learn about academic but campus teaches life lessons in these 4 years
- Placement, college is trying their own way to provide good but we all know there is recession but still it trying best
Dislikes
- infrastructure is too old but renovation is going on
- little more involvement is required in clubs
- mess fee per month is 4k but they take 30 per semester.my suggestion is to be pay and eat method to be provided
Course Curriculum Overview
I rate 4.5 out of 5. The faculty is very good. Student-friendly faculty. Due to corona, we missed out few labs but the other was good. The exam level will be like gate-level type questions. We can choose any electives from the given curriculum. Courses are few mandatory and few are in electives we can select based on our interest
Placement Experience
As in other nits and iits. It is same in 3rd year internship process starts and in final year placement process starts. Nitk college provides best placement make sure that everyone to get placed in good companies. nearly max 250 companies visited our campus . highest package 50lpa, average is 10 to 12 lpa. until now 80 -85% students are placed. Getting into a good company is my plan
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure varies to odd sem and even sem. Mess fees are standard which will be 30k per sem. The fee structure is different for general and reservation castes. There is an NSP scholarship given by the government which helps us to pay the college fee. complete cost = 700000
Campus Life
As known NITK's incident is the 2nd largest fest in India. Famous artists like Benny Dayal, shilpa Roy... come to perform their shows. We have a very good club involvement like there some credits awarded for clubs .... Good sports section non technical clubs are involved to showcase people talent
Hostel Facilities
Talking about rooms there are 6 hostels for women categorized in different ways for pg is different, for 1st year girls 3 sharing rooms, 2nd year double sharing room is allocated, 3rd year our choice for double sharing or single sharing. For final year single sharing. Rooms and service are too good. mess Food is good . Do not expect to be same as our native food
Admission
Firstly, I got allocated to mining. There is a branch changing option on the factors or seats available according to the reservation and high GPA. So, I got branch changed after my 1st year in EEE. Application process will be notified you by josaa, csab allocation process
