What Students Say
Likes
- I liked the surrounding the people and faculty’s they are helpful in case you need anything, I like the part where they have tournaments and many hackathons, we also have workshops as that improve you.
Dislikes
- I did not like the fee structure, they also try to finish the semester very fast which makes in inconvenient to everyone in the long run.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses keep getting updated every semester and this was the reason I had opted for this college I didn't want to be stuck in the old curriculum when the world is evolving faster, the curriculum would brush up your basics and teach you about its fundamentals, however, I would suggest more of practicals as it would help the students understand better, exams are not difficult if you have been studying whatever the professor prescribes you.
Internships Opportunities
Infosys had come for internships in my 6th sem where they offered 10-20000rs and based on your performance they offer you a CTC, and by 4th year you have TCS and and other companies that offer you an internship, the best part is you only have to complete their courses before giving a test to get an internship.
Placement Experience
We get eligible for placements from 6th sem where mutiple companies partner up like Infosys who selected students without any eligibility criteria which was wonderful, around 100 companies come by 4th year , in case you do not get placed , they offer internships where you get an opportunity to prove yourself for a CTC My plan is to opt for higher studies, hence I have not opted for placements .
Fees and Financial Aid
If you go through Cet it is 1,10,000 But if you go through DSAT it is 255000 which is fair enough for a private college, the fees would get increased every year so this year it would have spiked to 300000 as they have a new beautiful campus in harohalli, Bengaluru Students can opt for scholarships through SSP and NSP which would save you close to a lakh, as for now the college provides internships in the final year and in case you do not get places the college does help you get placed and also helps you get an internship so you can prove yourself.
Campus Life
There is not a lot of activities held around here, but the new campus has evolved massively and they have more activities than the previous campus every festival is celebrated here, there are multiple social groups clubs and student portals, the college will tell you in brief during the first day, college has also started various activities for football, cricket and basketball including tournaments as well.
Admission
The admission process was very smooth, since I didn't opt for CET I decided to take their entrance exam, I applied for it on their website and paid a fee for 500rs for the DSAT exam, it went smoothly and they sent me the selection letter in a week, The exam was not that hard if you have basic knowledge on PCMB, I would suggest they to give extra time after the selection letter so that the student has time to decide.
Other Applied Colleges
PES University - [PESU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Fees was costly compared to other colleges
