Likes
- I very much liked the sport facilities here. They have space for every major sport you can think of. Also they provide gym at minimal cost for students . Further sport coaches & conditioning coach are also there in the university
- I also liked the campus very much. The campus is a lush green are in around 250 acres. You will see a variety of flora & fauna in the campus around you
- The transportation facilities reaching to campus is also quite good.i mean it's just near Delhi ncr so it is well connected by all major means of transportation.
Dislikes
- I don't like the 75 percent attendance criteria of the college . If any student is doing some good work or internship then he should be allowed to do so not to be chained by the attendance
- The attitude of some professor who get annoyed at small small things which are unintentionally done by students. Professor took these things on their ego & take action again students
- Students waste their time roaming here & there instead of doing some work & focusing on their carrier. I mean you can travel if you want but you are here to study that is your main goal
Course Curriculum Overview
My course i.e. B.tech Computer Science engineering is quite fascinating to me . Since I always had interest in programming that is why I chose this field. Though the curriculum taught in the first year was really outdated for the current industry standards. I mean the technology which professionals are working on in industry are way ahead of what is being taught in the classroom
Placement Experience
The placement scenario of the last batch was pretty average. The average CTC was around 5 lac . Not more than 5 companies visited campus for placement. From the batch of 150 students arround 30 got placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee structure for this university is typically on the average side . Being a government university this is a plus point as compared to any private university. The complete cost of education per year is somewhere around 1 lac, which is cheaper as compared to some other colleges. Also scholarship are also provided on the basis of economics & educational background
Campus Life
Rhythm is the annual cultural fest that happens which took place in last winters. It was the first cultural fest of my college life as after corona this was the first time it happened. For the technical fest we have technova which is a nice one but not great as compared to other colleges.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility are average for the college but for the price point that they are providing i think they are quite up to the mark. The food of mess is however of poor quality. I mean cheap materials are used but u can't do not much about it since if you have taken hostel you have to take mess along with it
Admission
The admission process was nice. We first had two online rounds in hstes. Which is for haryana students only. After the online rounds we had couple of offline counseling rounds also in which people upgraded & changed their branch to a higher one. The application form was available on hstes only on their website. Fees for the form was minimal. The admission was on the basis of JEE entrance
