Course Curriculum Overview

Yes the course I have choosen is Electronics and communication engineering. The faculty is somewhat good. Overall the course curriculum is not as expected but good. The difficulty level is somewhat more only we need to focus on our studies to overcome them.

Class Size: 91Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college, for semester the fee is 62500 and the hostel fee is around 32700 per semester. The students can also apply for scholarships as well. If your income certificate is below 5lakhs you can also get fee remmission.

Campus Life

Yes I like the campus very much. The buildings are good. The library is very peaceful. Overall the campus is much better. Also there are constructions going on in the campus for new departments as well.

Admission

The admission process not so hard. It's easy to do. All you have to do is just to submit some documents online before coming to college and after coming to college you need to submit the left over documents for verification.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
