Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS course is an intensive training of 5 years. The first 4 years are learning years with postings while the 5th yera is compulsory internship for 1 year. After completing the course, you get the title of doctor in front of your name. The course is pretty stressful and it would be appreciated if efforts are made to reduce the pressure on students.
Internships Opportunities
One year internship is compulsory after 4 years of learning. It provides intensive and rigorous experience to all the students. The stipend is about 25,000 rupees. This may increase in the coming years.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees is around 27,000 rupees annually. Hostel fees is minimal and the remaining cost is mess fees. Other costs are minimal. There are various scholarships available vis state and central government schemes.
Campus Life
The campus is developing and there is room for improvement but the experience is splendid. The teachers and students and seniors are very friendly and heart-warming. There is absolutely no ragging. There are clubs for all activities like music, dance, arts, quiz, etc. All types of sports are played.
Admission
NEET-UG was conducted as entrance exam. The exam is very competitive and stressful. To get admission in a government college, you needed 600+ marks then, now the cutoff is increased. The exam is conducted only once a year.
