Admission to MBBS at Government Medical College Thrissur is entirely merit-based through NEET UG scores. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala conducts the state-level counselling. Government Medical College Kottayam

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tuition fees currently is around 24000 rupees. There will be hike if the government takes decision for the same. But not much hike will be there compared to private medical colleges. There is university fees of around 4000 rupees and exam fees of around 1000 rupees. There are various scholarships available for economically backward section. There are no campus placements. During the internship of 1 year duration, a stipend of 25000 rupees per month is provided.

Academics is really good with consistent examinations, classes, etc

Scholarships are available like egrants and that are exclusively for medical students. Campus placement not there as it is not hapoening in any med school. After 4 year course there is 1 yr compulsory internship which will give an amount around 35k per month.MBBS in pvt colleges will cost crores where as in govt it is thousands.

Every year we have to pay about 30000 in tuition fees. Other than that we have to pay the exam fees separately. We also have to pay the hostel rent and the hostel mess fees per month. If delayed we will have to pay fine

Best college I have ever chosen...

The annual tuition fees is Rs. 22,050, which may or may not be variable and the total annual fees reaches upto Rs. 26,000 including bus fees, library fees etc. Students who belongs to SC, ST and OEC can avail fees concession and there are various scholarships which provide fees concession specifically for first year students.

The better the work the better the result

The tuition fee is approximately 30000 per year including the examination fee which is paid separately. The college provides various scholarships for EWS, SC, ST and other people. There are stipends provided after the final year and provide 25000 per month.

A heavenly experience

As the college is a government facility the fee is so affordable for comman man.

The entire course is a five year duration which yearly 27000 rupees are to paid to the respective health ministry and this vary for each state. Their exist multiple scholarship policies by government and non governmental organization but governmental scholarships are more secure but at present the duration for the fund to sanction is too long than expected. Along with this hostel fee of 500 which include rent current bills and water bill are to be paid monthly along with this a separate mess bill is to paid. Following a 4.5 year entire course their is a period of one year of housesurgency which is a paid duration of about 26000 rupees is provided for the following during this period all the departments will be having posting and our real field can be selected
