- Five fold education which allows us to experience different fields like education , sports , design.
- Food is very fresh and hygienic and there are a lot of variety in food served.
- Medical facilities are very good here. Students are admitted free of cost and minimal charges on medicine is taken from students.
Dislikes
- The hot weather during summer makes it difficult to attend classes
- The queue culture is very bad here. For any administrative process you have to wait in log queue.
- Life is very busy here. There are a lot of pending assignments and works after classes.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am in my first year of B.tech,and here at banasthali Vidyapeeth they give us the essence of every aspect of the education we could possibly have like they teach us engineering drawing, engineering workshops , English , Hindi French , German and many other classes.Their teaching method is very interesting as well as interactive. Students enjoy doing there classes. Engineering workshops that are held here allows us for real world application,like how wiring at the household is done and how we join different parts of vehicles through welding.The only area of improvement I feel they should improve by conducting some doubt classes when the semester dates are near.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are good here. 100% internships are offered to the students pursuing btech. Companies like Mahindra tech , IBM , Google , Microsoft , Cisco , Barclays, Flipkart , Amazon etc come for placements.
Placement Experience
Placement offered by the college is very good. Placement rate is 100%. Students of every branch gets placed in good companies like tech Mahindra , IBM , Flipkart ,Cisco , Barclays , oracle etc. Highest package offered was 6600000 which was of last year. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in a MNC with a good package.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of two semester of btech fees is 350000 which is same for all the branches. Hostel fees of 60000 is included in it , mess fees is also included in it. Security fees of 10000 as extra is included in the fees which allows the students to enjoy medical facilities. Development fees of 4000 is also included in fees. Scholarship of 50000 per year is available for students who are from not well doing family.
Campus Life
There are around 14-15 fests held all over in a year but the biggest tech fest of banasthali Vidyapeeth is Mayukh which is held in the month of March. The accessibility of books and journals is very good , every department has its own library and there is a central library as well. The environment of the library is calm and peaceful for students to have distraction less studies , the facilities of class room is very good , every class has been designed in a specific way that allows the teacher to pay attention to every student. We have a five fold education system , where we can participate in any extra curricular activities like horse riding , basketball , wrestling , sitar etc. There are many students clubs like gdsc.
Hostel Facilities
The room is good with the facilities of bed, mattress , fan , study tables. Meal quality at mess is very good. There are a lot of variety at mess everyday. Registration process of hostel is done along with admission process.
Admission
We at banasthali Vidyapeeth had an online entrance exam. Question at the enterance were basic ncert questions.After which we had an offline admission process where we were asked to visit the campus.The admission process was held in a systematic way.We also had an interview round held.The fees of the whole course is 350000,in which they cut 60000 as hostel fees.The only problem I faced during admission was the rush,there were many admission process of different courses going on otherwise everything was good.
