Yes it used to be a great college earlier but now it has gone down for the irregularity of the placement.
Entrance Preview
It was one of the best colleges at the time of my admission. And it is also one of the oldest private colleges in west parallel. The faculty of the college was great as well as the surrounding and environment nearby. The seniors were very helpful. They were there to help at anything you have a problem. The college experience was great for personally as well as go grooming.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was great we use to have regular classes and laboratory. They use to teach us everything clearly and also extracurricular subjects used to there for the sake of placements purpose and to survive in a private sector. Every department was given equal opportunities.
Internships Opportunities
No they don't provide internship at our college. They only provide training of different students to different places according to the marks.
Placement Experience
Earlier it was great regarding the placement and job opportunities. But slowly it has been degraded now only a few companies arrives for placement the same commons companies. The TPO department should consider this as their challenge to provide better placement as compared to earlier placements.
College Events
In our events from the first fresher's party happens for the fresh student's arrival. Then Vishwakarma puja used to happen. Then it comes for the Saraswati puja event. And the sports events go parallel throughout the year. Finally, it comes the technical festival and cultural festival.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible as compared to the other colleges. In our time total 4lakh, 50 thousand was average fees structure including the mess fees and hostel fees. In every semester they used to charge around fifty-five thousand including the wifi charges, hostel charges, and mess charges.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, they provide benefits for the extra merits student. They deduct the tuition fee as known as tuition fee waver. Also, they provide a scholarship to the extra talented students.
Campus Life
No doubt the campus life is like heaven. The gender ratio is also good it will be around 40females: 60 males. The relationship of students are great no gender discrimination is there sports was great many games used to happen and the competition like robotics and all used to happen alot.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, ofcourse the seniors are always there to help us. There is a great bond between the senior juniors which last long after the college ends.
Exam Structure
We used to have two internals exams in one semester in which the whole semester subjects used to covered. Then it used to be added to our main semester results. Semester exams were used to have 70 marks and the rest were taken from the performance of individual throughout the semester. And laboratory exams were separated taken.
Admission
Was shortlisted in the west bengal joint of entrance exam and scored 36995 at the state combine. Then i have opted for the counselling and had picked the college in my list, thus was shortlisted in the counselling for the college. Then after confirming at the counselling for the college got admission.
Faculty
The faculty was great. They used to help us in each and every aspects being professionally or personally. Any time you need suggestion help they always help you out. There is a good relationship between students and teachers. They used to be very friendly to us.
