I liked the course plan design of the college
Staffs are extremely talented who can guide as for future
Food will be good but will not be great.

Dislikes

Sports activities are very restricted in campus.
Hostels are very old and they don't even take measures to renovate

Course Curriculum Overview

Yeah it was great. It covers most of the mandatory subjects like operationg system, DBMS, Software engineering, Datastructures and algorithm and many more. There are around 200 electives available which you can opt after completion of 2nd year

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 66000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for self supporting students will be around 66000 and for government seat it will be 24000 . There are many scholarship options available such as bc, sc/st scholarship and also they provide private scholarship.

Campus Life

The campus life will be great if you are an extrovert because the management won't conduct any event but there are many clubs available through which you can participate in events and every year all the department will conduct their events

Admission

The admission process was through Tamilnadu engineering counseling. I had 190 as cutoff and it was my 5th option which I wanna take up. If you have more than 192 as cutoff you will be guaranteed to get a seat in computer science department

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

We have plenty of placement opportunities starting from 6th semester. The noteable companies that visit the campus are Cognizant, Accenture, HCL, etc. IT company placements are better. The average package is 4.25 LPA.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Last year Closing rank cut off in TNEA was around 1300 for B E CSE Also this is the 2nd rank S tier College. Thriving at CIT

Students are generally admitted in colleges of Tamil Nadu through TNEA counselling. Coimbatore Institute of Technology is among top 10 colleges of Tamil Nadu.
