Dislikes

They have added a lot of modules in the course which is a lot of time consuming
They should keep sending us an opportunities they're offering like studing outside of India
No personal meeting, or have a group of same batch people. Basically no interaction with peers

Course Curriculum Overview

Amity University is having their portal named "Amigo" where all the course is uploaded and recorded. We have to go through all the lectures and then appear for module exam. The Bad thing about Amity is they don't provide the .edu ID which doesn't help you get the student benefits on the website.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 143000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently enrolled int he HCL Tech Bee initiative, I understand that the program entails a tuition fee of 20000 INR per semester, with a total of six semesters throughout the duration of the program, However, I have noticed a discrepancy in the fees for the first semester, My understanding was that the tuition fees for each semester would consistently amount to 20000 INR.

Campus Life

As I am an HCL Tech Bee person, We never had a campus life. However, it's an online course. But one thing I would like to add is Amity University always calls us and invites us through the mail if there's any function they have.

Admission

No, there wasn't any of the entrance exams. Since I am HCL Techbee I had an option to opt for the Amity BCA course. The eligibility for the course was 80% in class XII, including maths and English. You may find the application form from dalaal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

I actually chosed tgis college as the exposure was pretty good. AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk.
