Good college for decent placement

The curriculum for upcoming generation is in average level,still there is need of improvement. Faculty wise teaching is good but in some case it might not. It's your own interest to concentrate on your academics... nobody is going to push you out. There are 2 semester for each year.

There are so many companies avail for intern at 8th semester such as Deshaw, toshiba, appviewx, soliton, mercedes benz, nokia , oracle ,etc...Their stipend is in between 15k to 1lakh based on the company they are entering

Placement here is in a decent way but don't expect high package for everyone. The computer and core branches get higher opportunities here. Highest package is 52lpa . Above 50 percentage of students is placed

For Govt aided seat, It cost around 24k per year. Then there is some additional fees for examination. The hostel fees is also around 30k per year and food fees adds separately per month it becomes around 3k . Many scholarships are available which comes under govt schemes.

There is no particular cultural events in this college.But there are so many clubs in CIT where you can explore more and more. Its mandatory for students to take part in any one of it. Infrastructure is little poor as it is a very old college

Hostel facility here for girls is good. They food is average but you can adjust with it. The in timing for girls is around 8 clock. They maintain the hostel clean and neat. Washroom is cleaned every day.

Seat allotment is held through tnea counseling.After alloted with this college ,the admission should be held before the due date fixed by the counseling committee. There is no entrance exam to enter,12th engineering cutoff is enough. Aided seat fee structure is comparatively low here.
