Remarks

The college management is good. The symposiums can be conducted every year. And the placements could be a lot more improved

Entrance Preview

The entrance was solely based on Intermediate marks. The colleges were decided based on the cut off we obtain in 12th

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course consisted on 4 years out of which the 1st year curriculum was common to all the streams. The 2nd and 3rd year curriculum consisted of core subjects related to computer science. The final year curriculum had subjects closely related to our stream and we were allowed to choose the subjects as we desire.

Internships Opportunities

Our college did not have much exposure to internships. The internships were solely acquired on the student's own effort outside of the campus. No help or tie ups were provided from the college side

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement is probably the downside of the college. With most of the companies that come for placements being BPOs, it was a really touch time for most of the students in the final year to get a job in their desired field.

College Events

3

We had department wise symposiums that were conducted at least every alternative years if not every year. The college provided a reasonable amount of money as fund and the students were allowed to get sponsors for the respective symposiums. The events are planned by the students under the faculty's guidance

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is dependent on the marks obtained in the 12th. For students under Anna university counseling the fee was rather minimal whereas the ones joined under management had to pay around 1LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

There were no special scholarships offered as part of the college scheme but the loans are arranged as they had tie ups with Punjab national bank

Campus Life

3

The campus life was average when compared to what we would expect. But the college encouraged extracurricular like sports, inter college symposiums and workshops from time to time

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The mess food was less than average. We had many caterers switch from time to time. Most of them being pathetic and a few were eatable

Alumni/Alumna

There are alumni meets conducted once in every 2 years where the alumni students meet with their faculty. Since I just passed out of the college, I don't have much to say about this whole thing

Exam Structure

We had 8 semesters, prior to each of which we were asked to take up at least 3 assessments. The first 2 were the internal examinations which were basically quarterly examinations for the semester and one model exam which was basically a replica of the sem

Faculty

3.5

We had a mixture of all kinds of faculties - the passionate ones, the arrogant ones, the very strict ones and the most affectionate ones. We always had something or the other to learn from them, both academically and personally

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive.
