Likes

Environment in my college is very nice including the social and natural
Clubs which involves all the drama, singing, dance , etc
Facility members are supportive if you are supportive to them

Dislikes

Clubs of our college do not get funds afterall it's a government college than too there is no scope of getting the funds to the clubs for the betterment
Restrictions regarding girls and boys being roam together i guess they are adult they know what they are doing so stop restricting them
Placements as it is a government college we expect a huge amount of placement rate but it is opposite

Course Curriculum Overview

I had an interest in chemical and I got to knew that in India or in outside all over the country there is a huge demand of petroleum and pharmaceutical companies so I thought it as a good scope branch. The exam of JEE was tough but I think it was more of smart work then of hard work

Class Size: 84Course Fees: INR 62000 per year

Placement Experience

There are 80-90% placement in my branch but the average is very low so mostly students opt for M tech after the course. The average package is about 6-7 LPA. My plans is to opt for MTech as I have no interest till now in job so I think I should go for MTech to secure a job of more package than expected.

Fees and Financial Aid

As a I am in general category I used to pay 88000/- as my sem fees. And I am also a Hosteller which Includes 25000/- more in it. There are scholarships ideas but only for the students whose family income policy is less than 800000/- and for all other categories but there is no scope of scholarship for general category untill you are a topper of your class.

Campus Life

My overall campus life in terms of social life is I guess 10/10 as I am a extrovert person and the environment is very warm and lovely. I am also a part of dance club of my college and I am a dancer. There are a lot of extracurricular activities which includes sports, singing, drama , dance etc

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are well maintained attendants ate also very much supportive and dedicated towards there responsibility. As I am in jalandhar I guess punjab meal is very fine. My hostel food is one of the best food I can have in a hostel, there are a lot of varieties and the fod is really tasty. I guess hostel are better than PG especially in my college as I guess everything is provided to you by the hostel so there is no point to opt for a PG outside

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

I had a interest in science stream especially in maths that's why I opt for non medical. Then through my friends I got to knee about JEE. I found the application form in internet. I got 52 thousand rank but as I am a general category student, it was not enough for me to secure a good branch in a very reputed college so I also fill the form of csab after josaa councilling in which I secure chemical branch in this college

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

From four semester we start getting internships from various companies depending on student skills ,but regularly in 6th/7th sem we can ppo's pre-placement offer In cs department students are enjoying an average annual package of 17LAKH while in EC department, students are enjoying an average annual package of 13.5LAKH IN CS DEPARTMENT the placement percentage is nearly 91% while in ECE department placement percentage is nearly 97%

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
