Great Experience in college

I loves everything about the college except the campus placement part. If gtb management can enhance their network & make more efforts to place their students in reputed organization then gtb has caliber to become the top listed colleges in punjab.

I appeared in CET 2003. i don't remember the rank exactly that i secured but my rank is in the range of 6000-7000 & gtb was the best college available in the rank range.

It was as per the prospectus & counseling & i was really very satisfied with the detailed course study. Subjects included in my course really helped me to gain detailed knowledge about mechanical engineering.

College internship experience was one of its kind because it was the first time when i get my hands on the actual tools & machinery. We didn't offered any stipend to be honest but the experience that we gained during our internship was special one.

I wasn't really a party guy so didn't really participated in most of the events hosted in our college although i was a audience in some of the events hosted in our college i.e. athletic meet, 4 freshers parties, fairwell parties. 4 annual functions etc. & hats off to the organizers as they put their complete efforts to make these events amazing & wonderful.

I was paying approx 29,185/- per semester & i would rate it as mid range fee. Neither too cheap nor too costly. I don't really know weather guru teg bahadur khlasa institute of engineering & technology accounts department is lenient in the fee payments as i most of the times pay my fees in advance.

I don't knew any student who got scholarships from guru teg bahadur khlasa institute of engineering & technology but as far as the loan facility is concerned students arranged the loans them selves from nationalized or private banks & college didn't put their efforts into it.

Campus life in guru teg bahadur khlasa institute of engineering & technology was fun actually.We lived our life fully during those four years. They have good facility for sports such as table tennis, cricket, basketball, swimming, lawn tennis etc. Good labs where you can enhance your practical knowledge.Besides the infrastructure, best faculty, good hostels, good canteens this is the major lagging part of guru teg bahadur khlasa institute of engineering & technology. If gtb management can enhance their network & make more efforts to place their students in reputed organization then gtb has caliber to become the top listed colleges in punjab.

I'm not really much aware of hostel facilities and mess food in guru teg bahadur khlasa institute of engineering & technology as i was a day scholar. I've tried my hands on mess foods many times though and i only can say that food was tasty.

Senior students were really very supportive & they really helped us in coming out of the ragging fears that every 2nd fresher faces. Besides this they really helped us understanding the campus rules & responsibilities.

I was a students of b.tech in mechanical engineering stream & there were 8 semesters which were covered in the duration of 4 years. There was 2 mid session term papers in each semester & final semester exams at the end of each semester.

Faculty in our college was world class & i didn't really expected anything better than this. All of our faculty staff have in-depth subject knowledge & they really help us understanding the subject in details.
