KiPractically applicable subjects like Electrical Engineering and Electronics are taught via trained professors having a vast field experience , which makes the learning process very interactive and lively with their implementation of real life problems. The syllabus can be updated based on recent changes but it still remains the same as it was years ago in the institute . The exam here is not really difficult and can be easily cracked with a day's preparation .

Many internship opportunitoes can be avalied off campus by students across every year ( easily by students of coding ) . For on campus internship the competetion is very high that some bodies such as Mitacs and Dard provide internship only for a handpicked group of students giving a high stipend and handling their expenses.

Holds a 100 percent placement rate for 2 consecutive years . Major and minor companies visit the campus via online and offline interactions to filter out the students based on their academic performance and skillsets on a vast range of activities . However competetion is very high among the students to bag the highest salary package possible . Also many of them consider to join Masters in institutions abroad via competetive exams.

On an Average , one would have to pay 125000 per year and nearly 20000 of self expenses in this Institution which sums upto 150k per year depending upon the student's family income and personal expenses . Scholarships are easy to avail ifyou get enrolled in this particular college with a good rank . Category doesn't matter in academics but benefits can be availed but those having reservations .

Fests are very common in this institute having atleast one fest per month or three fests max per semester varying across technical cultural and literary etc . Biju Patnaik Central Library is one of the biggest libraries in Odisha , having a little collection tailored specifically for college graduates and other streams . All classes are equipped with Smart TVs and projectors for professors to teach using digital files and meta content. Sports are highly entertained in this campus and students are taken to competetions in the northern region free of cost . About 80 clubs qre actively performing in various activites under the supervision of the STUDENT ACTIVITY CENTER (SAC) in this insitution also participating in national level competition and bringing laurels to the institution .

Separate hostels for First years , no ragging across the entire campus . ISDC ( INSTITUTE STUDENT DISCIPLINARY COMMITEE) is very strict regarding to protect the right to freedom of each and every induvidual residing inside the Campus premises . Rooms are spacious enough to accomodate 2 peraons per room in every hostels across the institution. Meal quality is sufficient to survive and be healthy but sometimes mistakes do happen in terms of hygiene.

To enter this college , i cleared JEE Mains with an AIR 21000 and got allotted into Mechanical Engineering through JOSAA . Preparing for this exam takes deducation and time involving an aspirant to undergo various study practices and tests to get familiar with the exam pattern and face the competition. In JOSAA Counselling , one has to fill a list of choices that he/she has to enroll in a particular course in any institute of their choice , if rank permits they get allotted their beat option of choice based on their list filled in a priority order . On a broader perspective the better the rank and choice , the better the desired outcome.
