Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I I eagerly chose to embark on the journey of computer engineering because my fascination with the subject has been nothing short of a lifelong love affair! From the moment I encountered its wonders in high school, I was utterly captivated by the endless possibilities and innovations it offered. This passion drove me to pursue this course with unwavering determination, eager to unravel its mysteries and contribute to the ever-evolving world of technology. Well the curriculum does not prepare you for anything you have to prepare by yourself , to be honest not many teachers do not have a background in the IT field so even they don't know what to teach and how to teach.

Placement Experience

0.5

The worst of the worst placement rate is from my college. The day you'll enter the college as a first year student you'll see all the fancy posters that which companies visit the college but none of it was true. After some months students came to know from their seniors that all that is fake. The Training and placement department (TPO)of the college is a JOKE. They won't put any efforts the TPO will manage to make the one's who are in the TPO committee too get placed by internal politics for the rest of the normal students it depends on their luck even if they have more skills. No good MNC's visit our college cause of our egoistic and arrogant TPO head. Accenture, Cape Gemini etc these companies will visit other colleges with same college grade but won't visit our college due to his arrogance. The one's who had money took loan and went for masters in other countries the rest are suffering.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee structure seemed unfairly skewed in favor of students with reservations, lavishing them with financial assistance and support. However, as a general category student, it felt like we were left stranded in a desert of financial hardship, devoid of any oasis of assistance. The glaring discrepancy in opportunities underscored the uphill battle we faced, struggling to bear the weight of education's financial burden without the lifeline of aid extended to others. The reservation students used to get their fees refunded once the semester end through the scholarship.

Campus Life

2

Well the campus life was not even mediocre this college has the worst infrastructure in Mumbai. This college is literally surrounded by construction sites. The classrooms are not cleaned daily. The college took college development fees from us through our fees but during my college tenure nothing happened. The computers in the lab were not in the condition of even working. Well the club activities were pretty good since I was a member of NSS committee and also a branch head of CESA the club activities were decent they could be better but the faculties never gave any amount for management even some of the faculties took some amount of money which was actually given to the students to organise the events.

Admission

Addmission process was good you just have to fill out the forms and submit your documents for verification. MH-CET or JEE MAINS are the only exams through which you can take admission in this college. The application form is available in the exam section of the college. There are total 4 UT's and 2 Sem exams. The overall difficulty varies through subject, and the faculty still I can tell the difficulty level is 6/10. The one's who are eligible for reservation are required to submit their caste certificates for verification and once their application is verified the students will be provided special scholarships.

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
