The management is genuinely cooperative. Our problems are sorted out .

The college has a brand value. Also, being in the accounts department, the classes get over by 10 Am. This gives the students enough time to prepare for side courses or competitive exams . The classes are very regular. For someone who lives in Ranchi , it is the best college .

The course is very dynamic and apt for the competitive industry standards.We are taught accounting on computer software like tally. Also income tax and indirect taxes like GST are well taught on the computer software. The course is designed to make the students aware of various fields like taxes, company law , accounting, auditing ,costing and taxes .

Yes , the college does provide good summer internship opportunities with many good companies . The stiphend is at par with the industry standards and there are opportunities for good exposure of the industrial environment . We have to just make sure to keep track with such notices.

Many good companies visit the college for campus placements .The most recent one being Tata Consultancy Services. The companies also offer further study opportunities for the students . However , more than campus placements , the students have to rely on their capabilities to get jobs in companies .

Many different events take place in the college, the most interesting one being the Xavier utsav, The Xavier Fest which is held in February each year. It is a 3 day long fest which gives numerous opportunities for public speaking, painting, singing , dancing and quizzes . A dedicated band is sure to entertain you for the 3 festive days .Events like seminars , quizzes , exhibitions , sports events are held every now and then . You just have to keep track of them.

The fee structure is very very affordable . Nothing over the top . Only very basic per yearly fees ranging between 20000-25000 depending on the course . Also , the ST/SCs get their fees refunded each year under a scheme of scholarship . Even the OBCs get a concession of Rs 1000 or more .

The campus is extremely beautiful and spacious . The college has a Rotaract club which participates in many events and social activities . The labs are well maintained and well equipped and the computer lab currently holds around 140 computers . Events such s quizzes , debated are held during the fest and every now and then .

The college boasts of 4 canteens within the campus . The food is very hygenic and good . Also , its affordable . The college has boys hostel within the premises . The hostels have good security and mess facilities . Also , many lodges and hostels are at vicinity of the college .

The seniors are very helpful . There is a ban on ragging in the campus . The seniors are friendly and helful.

Since the college years are divided into semesters of 6 months each, the exams are divided into mid semesters and end semesters . There are few honors paper and few subsidiary papers in each semester. The end semesters are usually in December and may each year. Mid semesters are of 30 marks each and end semesters are of 70 marks each . Marks are also awarded for more than 90% attendance . The results are always released on time .

The admission is on the basis of a test which is MCQ based ...covering areas of accounting ,maths ( std 12th portion) ,general knowledge and current affairs .The total marks are 300 i .e 3 marks for each correct answer and one mark is deducted for each wrong answer. Then the candidates are shortlisted based on their scores.

The faculty is very regular and they focus on timely completion of the portion . They update their notes and provide us with the same . The faculty is well qualified to teach the various subjects added in the curriculum .Overall , they make us understand the topics well .
