- Majority of students are from Rajasthan only, although there is diversity
- Hectic academic load in first year, like many classes occurs
- 75% attendance criteria so you have to maintain it to sit in your exams
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is pretty good & yes difficult too but it opens many options for you in future & this was best option according to my jee rank. Yes they focus on both practical and theoretical knowledge. They should not teach core subject in the first year as it really gets difficult for them to study.
Internships Opportunities
Many students gets interned in third year itself according to their interest and also many give them PPO itself while intern time, students creates many projects and college helps them like providing funds
Placement Experience
Placements are excellent and students are eligible for them from 2nd year onwards only if you are capable, majority takes from 3rd year onwards. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, flip kart, Jp Morgan, Mahindra, bmw, nvidia, snapdragon and many more visited campus. Average package of my branch is 18 lpa. Percentage placed students is 75%.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees is nearly about 62,500 per semester for general & obc students. And zero for sc, st, pwd students. Complete fees is 120000 per year including all facilities. Many scholarships are available for pwd or ews students or students whose parents income is not that much.
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome like there are lots of fest occurs in campus like Sphinx annual technical fest followed by blitzslagh annual cultural fest celebrated at grand level. Mostly all kinds of course books are available in library & you can issue them with your college id card. Sports are very good like courts are properly built & well maintained, many tournaments occurs. There are many club according to your interest you can join them like photography, dancing, music, writing clubs
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are decent, in hostel rooms you are provided with a bed, chair and table, also fans & tube light are already there. Hostel mess food is quite good, like quality and quantity both are decent . Menu is decided by majority of the students. Registration for hostel is occurs from mnit ERP portal only.
Admission
Your rank should under 10000 in jee mains to pursuie this course. Application form is available on MNIT's official site like from ERP portal you will get application form and all details. As it is a government colleges you will have benefits of reservation. Approximately in every 2 months semester exams occur & difficulty is quite moderate. In admissions process they should give complete list of required documents cuz at the end it creates problem
